Alex Morgan is the tech reviewer behind this site. Since 2019 he has installed, tested, and documented hundreds of Android apps on real hardware, with a deliberate focus on video, streaming, and AI utility apps: exactly the category Lookr belongs to.

His bench is five phones covering Android 12 through 16, from a budget Galaxy A13 to a Pixel 8. Every build hosted here goes through the same routine: package and signature verification, a malware scan, a clean install test, and a hands on run of the app's core features, search, playback, and downloads in Lookr's case, before the download button is allowed to go live.

Alex writes every guide on this site from those test sessions, not from press releases. When a guide says a fix works, it worked on at least one of his phones.
